The first Islamic English School, in Kokan has opened at Khed; similar modules are in plan to be opened in other parts of Kokan.
The similar schools almost 25 in numbers, are already running in India and outside India.
The School syllabus is based on CBSE; the Arabic language syllabus has been adopted from Umm Al Qura Makkah University. In this school the English alphabet will be taught in Islamic perspective. All Islamic guidance has been given by renowned Kokani Islamic Scholar Sufyan Qazi who is doing his higher Islamic education at Islamic University of Al Madinah Al Munawarrah.
The Local teachers are well trained by Umm Al Qura trainers for Arabic, similarly for English from certified Oxford trainers.
This year play room, nursery and junior KG class will be starting.
Currently, the School has opened in rented nice and beautiful building in Khed and in future will be moved on a large land where three Taluka Khed, Dapoli and Mandangadh meets at Dasturi.
