“Among other basic necessities for the kid’s growth, it is the prime responsibility of parents to provide them with a proper contemporary and religious (deeni–wa-dunyawi) education. It helps them in achieving a great success in all aspect of their life”.
These are the thoughts expressed by Janab Sajid Sayyed, member of Al-Jubail Kokan Committee, Saudi Arabia. He was addressing the summer camp participants during a closing ceremony arranged by Anjuman Dardmandan Talim-o-Taraqqi, Mahad. He expressed a great pleasure and satisfaction on the training provided during this camp. He thanked Anjuman for the noble work and advised the participants to carry and convey the teachings and skill they have learned to their friends and relatives. He also requested for the support of parents on this cause.
The 20 day vacation camp, from 21st April to 12th May, was arranged by Anjuman at Dardmand Complex, Mahad. It was sponsored by Kokan Committees of Al-Jubail, Al-Dammam and Al-Khobar and Rabigh. The overall guidance was provided by Mufti Rafiq Purkar Madani, Maulana Dawood Murudkar and Qari Usman Karbari. Maulana Ishaq Ghare did an excellent job of invigilator.
The closing ceremony started with Quran recitation by a camp student, Osama Tajir. It was followed by “Hamd” and “Naat” presented by master Kamran and master Yunus Thokan respectively. Among others Mufti Rafiq Purkar, Qari Usman Karbari, Hafiz Sher Ali khan Pathan, Maulana Irfan Golandaz and Hafiz Tabish shared the stage. Various students demonstrated few of the skills they learned during the camp. It was well appreciated by everyone.
During his presidential address, Mufti Rafiq thanked Allah for His blessings and then advised students to practice what they have learned, in short time, during this camp. He asked the participants to manage and utilize their time properly and to make a habit offering prayers (Salats) in a timely manner and to do Quran recitation regularly. He informed about the ongoing girls camp in Jamia Shahida Lilbanat, Rajewadi. In this camp 85 girls student are undergoing 40 day course for Deeni education. This is one of the necessities of current time.
This concluding camp witnessed 38 participants from various parts of Kokan including Mumbai, New Mmbai, Thane, raigade and Ratnagiri. The daily classes and guidance was provided by Maulana Irfan Golandaz, Hafiz Sher Ali khan Pathan, Maulana Musaddiq Gantare and Janab Altaf Natuskar. During the camp, among other things, the participants were taught about performing Salat, Zikr, Quran recitation, handwriting, career guidance, correct way of solving exam papers, physical training andmartial arts.
The students expressed their satisfaction about the guidance they received and the excellent arrangement of lodging and boarding provided by Anjuman. They thanked Anjuman’s management for taking a lead to arrange the camp. Program was anchored by Maulana Ishaq Ghare. Prizes and certificates were distributed to outperformers and participants of camp. The program was concluded by invocation (Duwa) offered by Qari Usman Karbari.
