The monsoon 2013 rains have come heavy and early. Record downpours revealed by IMD show till July 14, 28% access amount of rain have been received.
Incessant rains in Konkan region for past two to three days and a continuing heavy rainfall in the region have increased the water level of rivers. Konkan Railway services are also affected due to heavy rain water.
