Sindhudurg district is the Southern part of the ‘Konkan’ which is historically famous for its long coast line and safe harbors. The district is named after the fort of Sindhudurg (which means “fort in the sea”), which lies on a rocky island just off the coast of Malvan .

Mind blowing pics. Sindhudurg is blessed with amazing tourist places which attract thousands of tourists every year. I love to visit Malvan beach, its very clean and from here I can easily get a ferry for Sindhudurg fort which is at the middle of the sea.

I must say to traveler do visit at Tarkarli beach once.
